My story
I'm Shir Newman, a photographer and editor.
I inherited a passion for photography and story-telling from my grandmother, the daughter of a pioneering Mexico City photographer, and opened a professional studio as soon as I graduated from high school.
I hold a B.A. in Film and Communications from Seminar Hakibbutzim, graduating with distinction — my final project, "Madre Tierra", a short documentary, picked up several international awards. My first feature-length film, "How to Say Silence" (2021), won awards at leading festivals in Israel and abroad.
With 15 years of experience and hundreds of events captured, I specialize in telling authentic stories through photography. I've worked with top tech companies, capturing moments that reflect the heart of their teams and their vision. More than just moments – I capture the essence of your team and its unique journey.
